  • I offer a limited number of spots for those that need an adjusted rate due to financial need. Please let me know if you have a financial need during our consultation call.

  • I accept all major credit cards for payment as well as HSA/FSA accounts. You will be charged at the time of our session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • During the psychotherapy process, you will learn more about yourself, how to set boundaries, and create the life you desire. You might feel nervous at first, which is completely normal, but trust is built over time. As our sessions continue, you will feel more comfortable with me.

I believe your journey is yours alone, but I can be a support to walk alongside you and help you uncover what is holding you back. I will thoughtfully listen and sometimes challenge you. I will be honest and direct because I believe to be clear is to be kind.

  • I work with teens and adults that are seeking support. This can include help with relationships, stress, anxiety or self-esteem issues. Every individual has unique needs and I will tailor my approach to match them. See my Focus Areas page for more detail.

  • Step 1: Fill out the consultation contact form. I’ll get back to you within two business days to schedule a free 15 minute phone call.

Step 2: If we decide we are a good match, we will schedule your first session. I will send along intake paperwork for you to complete before we meet.

Step 3: You will attend your first session. We will go over your intake paperwork together and start building a foundation by getting to know one another.

  • During the first session, you will begin to share your story. It is important for you to decide if I am someone you feel comfortable with and potentially trust. We will discuss your goals and I will begin a plan how to help you achieve them.

  • Everyone that enters therapy has different needs and goals. In the beginning, it is common for us to meet weekly to establish a foundation so I can learn more about you in detail. Once you have made progress towards your goals and you feel ready, we can move to bi-weekly sessions.

  • If you’ve read my website and you think we might be a match, please reach out so we can connect. Once we meet for an initial session and get to know one another, your intuition will guide your decision to meet with me or find a different therapist that is a better fit. We can discuss this at any time with no judgment.

  • Therapy is a commitment and a process. Only you will know if the work we are doing is creating the change you are looking for. I recommend that you stick with it for at least eight sessions to see change.

  • My address is:

    107 S. Lewis Street. Suite 130

    Round Rock, TX 78664

I provide therapy near downtown Round Rock. My hours fluctuate Tuesday-Friday. I offer a handful of evening sessions to accommodate teens. I do not work on the weekends to recharge my battery.

  • Life happens and I understand you might need to cancel. Everyone gets one “freebie” for an emergency (such as illness, car accident, etc.).

After one freebie, you will be charged the entire fee for a session for less than 24 hours notice.

  • Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the "No Surprises Act," you have a right to receive a "good faith estimate" explaining how much your therapy services will cost. Under this law, health providers must give an estimate of the cost for those without insurance or who are not using their insurance for services.

Please remember that it is an estimate and not a bill.

•You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

•Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

•If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

•Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

  • Insurance companies follow a medical model. This means they require a diagnosis of a mental health condition in order to bill for services. During an initial session a therapist is required to diagnose the client when using insurance. This is tall order after a 50 minute session, and I do not believe in pathologizing in this manner. A diagnosis becomes part of your medical record permanently. I also believe the use of insurance for therapy violates your privacy and confidentiality because of the information required from the therapist. Insurance companies also dictate how many sessions you are allowed, which should be determined by the client. If you request a superbill, keep in mind that I will have to provide diagnosis and documentation required by your insurance.

You deserve happiness.
